1 FORM · 3 CATEGORIES · 1 DATABASE
Kitchen Renovation Oakleigh runs one enquiry form and one website. This page sets out, in the same plain terms we use on a set of drawings, what that form takes from you, where it sits afterwards, what the browser does in the background, and how to have your details removed.
WHAT YOU TYPE IN
Everything collected through this website is information you choose to write down. There is no account to create, no password to keep and no payment step anywhere on the site.
Nothing more is asked for, and nothing is inferred from what you send. If a message contains detail you would rather we did not keep on file, say so in the message and it will be removed from the record once it has been read.
USE
To read your message and reply to it. To work out the scope of what you are describing and prepare an estimate or a set of questions before anyone measures anything. And to keep a record of the conversation, so a second call does not start from an empty page and you are not asked the same things twice.
Enquiries are stored privately inside this website’s own installation and read by the people who run the business. They are not published anywhere on the site, and a message is never quoted or reused as promotional material.
NOT USED FOR
COOKIES · LOGS · LOADED FILES
The website software sets a small number of cookies that let the pages work — remembering a browsing session, or that a form has already been sent. They are not advertising cookies and they do not follow you to other websites. Your browser can block or clear them at any time, and the pages will still read normally.
Like any website, the server that hosts these pages keeps routine access logs: the address a request came from, the browser used and the page asked for. That is part of running and securing a site rather than a record of you, and it is not matched against enquiries.
Some elements on the page — typefaces and photographs — are held by the services that host them, which means your browser requests those files from elsewhere when a page loads. Those services see the ordinary technical detail any file request carries. They receive nothing you write into the enquiry form.
IN SHORT
Nothing on this site tries to identify you before you introduce yourself. Reading about benchtop materials or the thirteen build stages leaves no mark tied to your name.
KEEPING · CORRECTING · DELETING
A message is kept while it is still doing work: a question waiting on an answer, a scope being priced, a kitchen being planned or built. Once an enquiry no longer relates to anything in front of us, it is deleted from the site rather than archived indefinitely.
You do not have to wait for that. Ask at any point to see what is held about you, to correct something that is wrong, or to have your enquiry deleted outright, and it will be done. Send the request through the contact form and write from the same email address or mention the phone number you originally used, so the right record can be found and no one else’s details are handed over by mistake.
If the way this site handles enquiries changes — a different form, a different way of storing what comes through it — this page is rewritten to match. It describes what actually happens here, and nothing that does not.
1 REQUEST · 1 REPLY · 0 CONDITIONS
Write, say what you want done, and it gets done. You are not required to justify a deletion request, and asking for one does not affect any quote or work already under way.
